Amanda McDonald, RYT
The first time Amanda experienced the power of linking breath and movement was in dance class. Even before she found the codified system of yoga, she knew this was a transformational technique. Amanda’s passion is yoga. Amanda has felt and seen the many positive changes yoga can engender, and wishes to share the practice with people of all kinds. Amanda studied intensively with Holly Coles, Amanda Wentworth, Courtney Bauer, and at the Sri Swami Satyananda Ashram in Orissa, India. She is currently enrolled in the 300 hour Fire, Study, and Devotion Advanced Teacher Training with Bryn Chrisman and Stacey Brass. She also practices thai massage, which she see as an extension of her yoga practice. Amanda grateful to her teachers for their continuing guidance. Amanda likes to think of her classes as moving meditations: a combination of movement and breath, meditation and play. She aims to teach the joy, ease, and strength she finds through the practice.
